Use public information only
Only affirmatively public, unclassified information belongs in problems, code, screenshots, tests, prompts, logs, or demos.
Respect existing owners
Existing projects remain with their owners. Link, refer, or contribute upstream when invited. Owners may request a correction or removal.
Show the evidence
List sources, risk, review state, maintenance ownership, and unknowns. AI-generated output is not validation.
Record the disposition
Safe submissions receive a visible status. Deferrals and referrals remain visible; only the HUHY Steward can decline a viable proposal.
Be honest about provenance
Contributors identify private-capacity or authorized official-duty work and confirm they have the right to share every contribution.
Ratings mean usefulness
A star rating reflects community usefulness only. It is never a security review, official approval, or permission to reuse code.
Keep sensitive information out of HUHY.
Do not include CAC data, .mil-only APIs, PII, PHI, CUI, operational or readiness data, credentials, internal screenshots, sensitive uploads, or material with an uncertain classification or release status.
